Alpha Labs Sector 3 Overview
- TIP: Be sure to check your PDA for funny quips, important information, security codes, and more.
- Equip your Shotgun, head into the AL2 Main Engineering room, and blast the Imp that jumps across the darkness towards you. Head down the path and you'll run into two more Z-SEC Zombies taking cover behind some crates - head shots work wonders on them. Further past them an Imp will spawn, so keep your Shotgun handy. When you head up the stairs, a Z-SEC with a Pistol spawns to the left, and a cadre of Trites with a Maggot leader will be behind the corner waiting on you. Kill everything, and move on - to find a locked door.
- Backtrack to the main hallway and move down the available path to fight more Trites and a Maggot, then head through the door on your right to enter the Hazardous Waste Disposal room. There's a PDA in here, so be sure to grab it - the audio log contains the password for every locker in Alpha Labs Sector 3(123). Use the control panel to manipulate the claw, and use the claw to grab the leaking radioactive barrels. Choose the "Transfer Item to Incinerator" option, and when both barrels are gone, you can enter that area.
- Backtrack to the previous hallway and go up the stairs on your right to enter the room you just cleared of barrels. Cross the room to the Hazardous Materials Lift room.
- One of the first lockers of this level is here, so unlock it (remember, 123) and grab the items inside. There's a PDA here that gives you increased security clearance, as well. Use the control panel to raise the lift, and it'll arrive with three Z-SEC Zombies - blow them up with a few Pistol shots to the barrel they're standing around, then grab the armor and ammo laying on the lift.
- Backtrack to the previous room and shoot the Z-SEC Zombies that come through the opposite door, then head back into the AL3 Main Engineering room and kill the Z-SEC Zombies that pop around the corner. There's a Z-SEC with a Pistol at the bottom of the stairs, so kill him and head back to that locked door from earlier. Use your new security clearance to get in.
- Left of the door to the Coolant Monitoring room is a Z-SEC - blast away, and head down the hall. A Trite spawns behind you, foreshadowing future events. On down the hallway are an Imp and his friends, more Trites, so kill them. There's another locker here to open (123). Go up the stairs, kill the Maggot that shows up, and head into the Boiler Room.
- An Imp will spawn - blow it away, and fire to either side at the two Z-SEC Zombies surrounding you. Go to the right hand side of the room to fight a swarm of Trites, and two more Z-SEC Zombies will rush in from the far corner. Kill everything, and head into the Boiler Room Monitoring area.
- As soon as you open the door, shoot the unsuspecting Zombie, then focus your fire on his fat friend to the left. Go left down the hallway, grab the Chaingun, and turn around. Look at the suit of armor, but don't touch just yet - prepare yourself. When you grab that armor, tremors will shake Mars, and you won't be able to go anywhere briefly. A wall will collapse - here comes the fun.
- Shoot the Imp that's in front of you, then mow down the Zombies in the hallway. Move down the hallway and come back, since two more Imps will spawn in, then a Zombie, then two more Z-SEC Zombies. Head back through the hallway and through the door on the left.
- Head left and shoot the Trites and the Zombie that come after you, then get on the lift and ride it down - it'll break before you get there, and an Imp with some Maggot followers will show up. Blast them, and head to the Heavy Water Runoff area.
- A little into the room, three Pinkies will show up - circle them with the Shotgun or mow them down with the Chaingun, but keep moving. After they fall, another Pinky will charge in - avoid it, kill it, and shoot the two Imps that'll appear once it's dead. Head through the broken window to the EFR Staging Room 18. The final locker for this level is here, so open it with 123 and grab some items. Finally, head through the door to complete the level.

Alpha Labs Sector 4 Overview
- NOTE: There is a boss battle on this floor.
- You'll start in the Reactor Ready room, so look around (no enemies to worry about for a while), and use the Health Station if you need to. There's ammo and armor at the top of the stairs on your right, so be sure to get it and head through the door to the Reactor Control room.
- On your left, look downward to see a man in the reactor room. There's two options - pressing the "Activate" button will kill him, while pressing the "Open Chamber" button will let him out. Letting him out gets you some items later, so free him and head across the room to the Reactor Room left. Ride it down to the Reactor Junction 1 and talk to the man whose life you just spared.
- Follow him into the Reactor Sub Station 1, grab the PDA, and look to the left of where the PDA was to find a control panel that opens a security cabinet. Raid the cabinet, exit the room, and head through the area where the man was trapped to the Reactor Junction 2.
- There's ammo just laying on the floor here, so grab it. Equip your Shotgun (reload if needed), and then open the door - blast the Imp as it jumps at you. A Z-SEC will charge in, so take him down, and then shoot the two Z-SEC Zombies that were covering him from the catwalks. There's a crate you can use as cover against them until they fall. Walk forward into the Reactor Processing room.
- A swarm of Trites will appear - mow them down from the hallway, then head to the back room and take out another wave of Trites.
- Go up the stairs in back of the room and kill the two Z-SEC Zombies that charge around the corner, then watch for a swarm of Trites from upstairs, and again from downstairs. Walk across the upper level and keep your eyes open for the Z-SEC Zombie that comes out of a door to your left.
- There's two doors at the end of the catwalk, open the right door, but don't enter. Walk further down the hallway to the left door and you'll find an unlocked door - you'll also see a vision. Backtrack down the hall and grab some goodies from the now-open door to your right, then backtrack to the main room and go in the second door to go to the EFR Staging area.
- Look to your right to find a PDA, and use the control panel - there's an option to either activate the system or extend the service bridge. Activating the system gives you less enemies, but more platform-jumping obstacles, while extending the bridge gives you an easy walk, but more enemies. This guide assumes you chose to extend the bridge, so head across the bridge and kill the two Z-SEC Zombies that appear.
- Head down the ladder on your platform to find ammo and health - if you collect it, Imps will spawn. Shoot them if you grabbed the items, then walk around this lower level towards the other end of the EFR Staging area to spawn about six Imps - kill them and you'll be able to enter a nearby hatch with all sorts of goodies. Grab them, then head back up the ladder and move across the service bridge.
- At the end of the bridge, some Imps and Trites will attack. Clear them out and head over to the next service bridge. In the middle of the bridge a Z-SEC will charge you, take him down and head to the door he used. Kill the Trites that crawl up to get you, then head into the EFR Junction 1.
- Move left and open the door to EFR Storage PT3, then backpedal and shoot down the Z-SEC Zombies that are waiting for you - use the doorframe as cover if necessary. Walk in, grab the items, and watch out for a Maggot that spawns behind you as you walk around the left corner. Keep moving, and there's another Maggot waiting for you - kill it, and keep going to end up in the EFR Main Conveyor.
- Head down the path to the platform, and kill the Imp that appears on your left. Head up the ladder to the upper level, and walk along the conveyor belt. A Maggot will spawn at the far end of the hallway that's around the right corner - take it down, and keep moving. Further down, another Maggot with a Trite swarm will spawn in, and after that, an Imp with another Trite swarm will appear - kill everything, and continue.
- There's a ladder here to use, so head down, and grab the armor on the ground. A door will open before you - head in to reach the EFR Pressure Station, which leads to the Plasma Gun. Once you grab it, Imps will spawn in to kill you - return the favor, using the pillars as cover. Head back down the hallway, at the end of which wait two Z-SEC Zombies.
- Move across the next path to find the EFR Master Valve room. There's a Maggot and a Trite up there, so dust them and use the Health Station in the room if you need to. Climb the ladder in back of the room and be prepared for a Z-SEC that charges through the door. At the end of the catwalk is a security cabinet, use 651 to open it.
- Go in the door and down the path to find the EFR Junction 5 - you'll hear the Trites before you actually see them, they're below you. Go downstairs, but beware of Trites that spawn behind you - run back upstairs when they do and pick the swarm off as they funnel up. After defeating the first swarm, go back downstairs and destroy the second swarm. Grab the health and armor under the stairs and move on to the EFR Main Conveyor.
- At the end of this catwalk are Z-SEC Zombies - they'll shoot at you to let you know they're there. Blow up the barrels to take them out, and as you move down the catwalk, more Z-SEC Zombies will come from both paths leading from EFR Junction 6. Head down the left path to find armor and Shotgun ammo, then backtrack and head down the right path to get to the EFR Junction 7.
- There's a Z-SEC with a Pistol around the left corner - shoot him in the head, then keep moving until you reach the EFR Junction 9. An Imp is hiding behind the right corner, so keep your Shotgun close by. On down the path the hall opens into an area with several corpses - use the Health Station if you need to, then check the back of the room for ammo. Take everything - you aren't coming back here.
BOSS: Vagary

- Once you go through the doors, you'll meet Vagary, a twisted half-humanoid, half-arachnid demon. It throws spiked projectiles at you - run in circles and jump to avoid them, and don't run into them once they stop moving (they'll still damage you).
- To defeat Vagary, keep your Plasma Gun trained on its torso - headshots won't really do that much more damage, and it's easier to miss a headshot than its body. It won't be long before the demon is finished.
- Open the last door and enter to complete the level.
