Dooce

  • Dooce is both the blog and pseudonym of Heather Armstrong. The blog focuses on mother-related issues in both the home and workplace, and has been called "mommy blogging" in some circles.

In 2009, she released her book, It Sucked and Then I Cried: How I Had a Baby, a Breakdown and a Much Needed Margarita which focuses on her experience becoming a mother. She stated that she wrote the book to reach more women and tell her brave tale, which mentions post-partum depression and other things not mentioned in the average pregnancy book.National Post: Q & A with Heather B.
