• Gameplay

  Contestants choose from nine categories or themes with lyrics that correspond to that theme. They are given the choice of two different songs, and they have to complete their chosen song's lyrics after the band stops playing. If they get the lyrics correct, they move up to the next cash prize bracket. If they sing the lyrics incorrectly before they hit the $25,000 bracket, they loose all their winnings. Once they pass the $25,000 mark, if they get the lyrics incorrect they will still go home with $25,000. The grand prize is one million dollars.

  There are three backups that a contestant can choose to play. The help of one friend or family member, the "two word" help that allows two of words of their lyrics to be incorrect, or "three lines" where they are given a choice of three different sets of lyrics to complete the song.
