Magnolia, Arkansas special education teacher Donna Lou Sanders is accused of taking several young students, including her own daughter, to motels to engage in sexual activities.

The 46-year-old Sanders abruptly resigned from her job as a teacher at Magnolia Junior High School on April 23, 2008, citing "catastrophic events that have taken place within my family." Magnolia Police Chief Robert Gorum says Sanders has admitted to the allegations.

In an affidavit released by authorities, the school's principal says several students, including 12 and 13-year-old girls, claim Sanders drove them to various locations to engage in sex and provided them with alcohol.

Sanders faces 12 counts of permitting abuse of a minor, and 10 counts of rape. On April 25, 2008, Sanders was released from the Columbia County Justice and Detention Facility on $100,000 bond. Reports say she is currently undergoing treatment at a mental health facility.
