Donkey Kong 64 is a platform video game that is similar to Banjo-Kazooie, in which you collect various items. It was the first game to require the use of the expansion pack.

Donkey Kong 64 is a platformer game with heavy use of 3D elements. The game has an adventure theme which takes the player through the jungles to collect various items like coins and bananas. The main point of the game is to collect as many "golden bananas" as possible, in total there are 201. These bananas are required to open up the additional levels. In addition to the golden bananas a player will also need collect boss keys to unlock each of the eight locks on K Lumsy's cage. There is also a multi player option that allows 4 players to play at once in several arenas.
