Donald Westlake

Donald Westlake was an American mystery author who wrote over one hundred novels and non-fiction books. His first novel, The Mercenaries, was published in 1960 by Random House.Los Angeles Times: Mystery author Donald E. Westlake died on December 31, 2008, from a heart attack. The New York Times reported that Westlake was on his way to a New Year's Eve dinner with his wife in Mexico when he suffered a heart attack.
