Cornerback Donald Washington played college football for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Washington was selected 102nd overall in the fourth round of the 2009 NFL draft by the Kansas City Chiefs on April 26, 2009.

Washington graduated at Franklin Central High School where he played as a wide receiver and was one of the top defensive backs in Indiana. He attended The Ohio State University and played for three seasons as a cornerback before he declared to forego his senior season to enter the 2009 NFL Draft. As a Redshirt in 2005, he played on the scout team but did not see any game action. He was named the team's most outstanding first-year defensive player.
