Don Omar, a reggaeton artist and singer, married Univision weather forecaster Jackie Guerrido on April 19, 2008 in Puerto Rico.
The Wedding
The wedding took place at the Ritz Carlton hotel in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico. Hydrangeas were used as decorations, and Guerrido carried a bouquet of purple lilacs. Her dress was desinged by Louis Antonio. At their request, guests donated money to a local shelter for abused women in place of buying gifts for the newlyweds.
Background
Omar (whose real name is William Omar Landron) was previously married to Melissa del Valle Rodriguez and has a daughter and two sons. Some of his popular songs include "Angelito" and "Dale Don Dale". Omar has been nominated for several Latin Grammys and won Reggaeton Album of the Year at the Latin Billboard Awards for his album King of Kings in 2007.
