Don Muraco is a retired American professional wrestler who performed in the WWE.
Career
Muraco wrestled in the American Wrestling Association and numerous National Wrestling Alliance territories before his 1980 debut in the WWE.
During his WWE career, Muraco feuded with Bob Backlund, Rocky Johnson and Pedro Morales. He may be best remembered for his Intercontinental Championship rivalry with Jimmy Snuka.
In an October 1983 steel cage match with Snuka, Muraco escaped the cage and won, but was dragged back in by Snuka, who then climbed the cage and splashed Muraco from the top.Online World of Wrestling: Don Muraco
During the 1980s, Muraco starred in a series of humorous spoofs with his manager, Mr. Fuji. Two in particular, Fuji Vice and Fuji General (Miami Vice and General Hospital parodies), are fondly remembered by fans to this day.ESPN: The YouTube Hall of Fame
In 2004, Muraco was inducted to the WWE Hall of Fame by Mick Foley.
