  • Singer and songwriter Don Henley was a founding member of The Eagles. The Eagles broke up after about 10 years in 1980 and reunited in 2008 to release their seventh studio album, Long Road Out of Eden. Henley has also had a successful solo career.

    Henley filed a lawsuit against Republican senate candidate Charles Devore for using his songs "The Boys of Summer" and "All She Wants to Do Is Dance" without permission. DeVore allegedly changed the lyrics to "All She Wants To Do is Tax," in reference to Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer, in a YouTube video. Henley is a longtime supporter of the Democratic party.
