Don Cheadle is an actor who has appeared in such films as Hotel Rwanda, Crash and Ocean's Eleven.
Life and Career
Don Cheadle grew up in Kansas City, Missouri to a bank manager and clinical psychologist and attended the California Institute of the Arts.
After landing a number of smaller roles in film and TV, Cheadle got a breakthrough opportunity when he was cast as Rocket in the film Colors. After that he went on to get more supporting work but caught the attention of audiences for his performance in Devil in a Blue Dress.
He soon began featuring more prominently in films and eventually was offered substantial roles in such films as Out of Sight, Crash, and Hotel Rwanda, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for best actor in a lead role. He also participated in the hugely successful Ocean's Eleven Film series.
In 2008, he appears in Traitor opposite Guy Pearce and Jeff Daniels.
