Dominoes are rectangular game pieces that look like flattened dice and are used as a set for playing strategic number games or arranged in intricate formations to be toppled over. They are enjoyed by both children and adults all over the world.
What Makes Up a Domino?
A domino set typically consists of 28 pieces. These pieces are also called called tiles, bones, cards, or stones. Each piece is shaped like a rectangular tile and has a line drawn or engraved in the middle which divides the face into two ends. Each end is marked with spots or may be blank. The spots are arranged like dice. The back side of a domino is left plain or may have a form of decoration.
