Dominic Moore was drafted 95th overall during the third round of the 2000 NHL Entry Draft by the New York Rangers. Moore completed his decorated Ivy League education with Harvard University in 2003 and debuted with the Rangers on November 1, 2003.
On March 4, 2009 the Toronto Maple Leafs traded Dominic Moore to the Buffalo Sabres for a conditional 2nd round draft pick. TSN: Moore traded to Buffalo (March 4, 2009)
Young Journeyman
In 2006, Moore was traded to the Nashville Predators and then flipped to the Pittsburgh Penguins where he played 59 games before being traded to the Minnesota Wild for a draft pick. The Toronto Maple Leafs then claimed Moore off waivers in the 2007. The latest deal involving Dominic Moore was during the 2009 trade deadline where he was moved to the Buffalo Sabres.-
