British actor Dominic Monaghan is best known for his leading roles in the hugely successful The Lord of the Rings Film Series and on the ABC drama Lost.

A Man Named Merry

Monaghan came to international attention with his role as Meriadoc Brandybuck aka Merry in the The Lord of the Rings Film Series. Merry was Pippin's best friend and closest confidant. He traveled with him through most of his adventures.
Lost in Love

Monaghan has been romantically linked to Lost co-star Evangeline Lilly over the four seasons he was on the show. After his character "Charlie Pace" was written off the program when he drowned, they broke up. Although as recently as April 2008 the two have been seen together, and internet rumors abound speculating their reconciliation.
