    Dominic Cooper appeared in a song-and-dance performance at the 2009 Oscars together with host Hugh Jackman, Beyonce, High School Musical stars Vanessa Anne Hudgens and Zac Efron as well as Mamma Mia co-star Amanda Seyfried.

    Cooper's first starring role was in the 2004 British stage play The History Boys, with which he toured internationally for two years. In 2006, The History Boys was turned into a film and Copper earned award nominations from the British Independent Film Awards, the British Empire Awards and the London Critics Circle Film Awards for his performance.
