Located in Miami Gardens, Florida, a suburb of Miami, Dolphin Stadium is home to the Miami Dolphins of the National Football League, the Florida Marlins of and the Major League Baseball and the University of Miami Hurricanes NCAA football team.

History
The stadium was state-of-the-art when construction was completed in 1987, featuring a club level and executive suites. Originally only used for football, the stadium was constructed with the hope that a Major League Baseball franchise would be attracted to the Miami area, which came to fruition when the Florida Marlins expansion team was created in 1993. The stadium is also host to the University of Miami hurricanes football team.Notable Events
