Dollywood is Tennessee's most visited amusement park. With the rides and the shows and the smokey mountain cabins filled with artists and craftsmen. There is so much to enjoy when visiting the theme park.
Dolly Parton became a business partner with Herschend Family Enterprises in 1986. At that time, the amusement park, owned by the Herschend Family, was called Silver Dollar City, Tennessee. Since Dolly Parton took over the park has grown adding new rides and attractions and bringing in the Splash Country Water Adventure park to the area.
Besides the thrill rides and the adventure attractions there are local artisans that craft their wares in the park.
Dollywood is celebrating the 25th anniversary of the park this year.
Dollywood also has stage shows and special events through out the year. Specials for holidays and Presentations like the show Drum which was a percussion event that celebrated drummers from all over the world and from all types of cultures. Special musical events for all types of audiences are presented daily at the park.

Dollywood Adventure
This is a front row movie of the Mystery Mine ride and it is one of the thrill rides that are featured at Dollywood Park. The family that took the video rode the roller coaster and filmed the entire ride. There were several unexpected parts to this ride and this family caught them on their movie.
