    Dollhouse is a FOX television series created by Joss Whedon. The series suffered from poor reviews and low ratings during its first season, and was not expected to be renewed for the fall of 2009.Zap2it: 'Dollhouse' episode 13 will not air (April 9, 2009) However, on May 18, 2009, Fox announced it was renewing the show for a second season, citing the show's DVR ratings as one of the main reasons.     On November 11, 2009, FOX announced plans to cancel the show. It has currently filmed 11 of its 13-episode order, and is expected to finish filming the last two episodes.     Dollhouse revolves around a group of agents or "dolls" whose personalities may be wiped clean and imprinted with new personas, memories, skills or languages. The dolls are hired to carry out crimes, act out fantasies and complete various jobs. The show focuses on Dushku's character Echo, a doll who develops self-awareness.
