    Dolla's publicist confirmed the shooting.     A man fitting the description of Dolla's shooter was found in the lobby area of Terminal 1 at the LA International Airport. When approached by police, he raised his hands and alerted them that he had a gun in his waistband. He was apprehended and identified as 20-year-old Aubrey Berry.   • Career

    Dolla began his career in 2007 with the single "Feelin Myself." The song was a breakout hit and featured in the movie Step Up. After his initial success, he signed on to the record label Konvict Muzik helmed by music mogul Akon. After releasing several singles including "Love of Money" and She So Fine," Dolla released his first full album in 2009.
