Early Career
Domenico Dolce, who comes from Sicily, and Stefano Gabbana, who comes from Milan, met in 1980 and became a couple while working as assistants in another fashion house. They started their own business in 1982 but were officially on the map of fashion after participating in the Milano Collezioni's "New Talents" fashion show. -
