Doha's status as the world's third largest natural gas reserve has caused many changes to its society. The city continues to evolve with new construction and infrastructure investment daily. Large investments are also being made in research and development for new technologies as well in education for its citizen. Doha has a long history with the British and many of their economic and education policies are based off the United Kingdom (UK).
