  • Calvin Broadus (aka Snoop Dogg) started his career as a Long Beach, California hip hop artist and rapper in 1992. Since then, Snoop Dogg has sold more then 30 million albums worldwide. Transitioning from gangsta rap, he has been involved with co-branding numerous items including, dolls, pet clothes and even a custom Snoop deVille. In addition to his charity work and his new MTV talk show, Snopp Dogg also works on Snoop Dogg's Father Hood on E! Entertainment.   • In 2003, Snoop Dogg founded the Snoop Youth Football League (SYFL) as an organization to help kids stay off the streets by providing a positive outlet. The league is comprised of boys and girls ages 5-13 from South Central LA, Compton, Watts and Pomona, California and has over 2,500 participants. The kids must maintain a GPA average of 2.0 to play and Snoop Dogg is personally involved in coaching.
