• Bounty hunter and bail bondsman Duane "Dog" Chapman stars in the reality series Dog The Bounty Hunter.

    Colorado Springs authorities have reported that Chapman and a bail bondsman were shot at while they attempted to apprehend a man who has been charged with murder.     In 1977, Dog Chapman, former gang member, was convicted to five years in prison for the first degree murder of Jeremy Oliver. Chapman's career as a bounty hunter began years later when a judge offered to pay his child support if Chapman captured a fugitive. In 2004, Chapman was offered his own reality show. The show followed Chapman and his associates chasing down criminals as well as their private lives. The show was put on hiatus in October of 2007 after the National Enquirer obtained an audio tape of Chapman repeatedly using a racial slur in a conversation with his son, Tucker.
  • Taxes
