A Dog Allergy is a histamine reaction to a dog saliva, urine and dander. Symptoms include sneezing, runny nose and nasal congestion, among others. No dog is hypoallergenic, but some may trigger fewer symptoms than others. Common strategies for symptom reduction include regular dog grooming, and the use of medications that either block the absorption of allergens in the body, or alleviate allergic reactions.
