Known for their high-energy live shows which often end with broken instruments, Does It Offend You, Yeah is an electronic-based band from England composed of four members. They have been influenced by bands like Daft Punk, Justice, LCD Soundsystem and Digitalism. New Musical Express Magazine has compared them to bands such as Muse and !!! because of their heavy sound. On August 26, 2007, they played the Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival along with bands such as The Teenagers and Crystal Castles, where they played a blistering punk-influenced show.
Origins of their name
The name of the band is a quote from character David Brent from an episode of British The Office. In an interview with NME, the band says that when they were doing their profile on MySpace they needed a name for the group; they decided to use the first thing that was said on TV. When they switched it on, Ricky Gervais said, "Does it offend you, yeah? My drinking." All the members decided to give that name to the band.
You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into

On April 25, 2008, they embarked on a tour of the USA and Canada in support of their debut album by appearing at the Coachella Festival.
