DMX is a rapper and an actor who has sold over 23 million albums worldwide. His real name is Earl Simmons and he was born on December 18, 1970 in Baltimore, Maryland. Arrests And Jail Time
Despite his lyrical talent and success, DMX has had several run-ins with the law. He has been addicted to crack cocaine for years and has been arrested multiple times for crimes such as drug possession and assault. Rapper Gives Interview From Phoenix Jail
During his stay in the Maricopa County jail in 2008, the rapper gave an interview about his life and his future. He had been arrested for drug possession and cruelty to animals after police raided his Arizona home and found multiple drugs and pitbulls that were malnourished. In the interview, he says that he wants to become a pastor and talk to people about God after his release.
