Dmitry Chernyshenko is a native of Sochi, Russian Federation. Chernyshenko is a leading Russian professionals in the field of advertising and sports marketing.
Chernyshenko started his career in advertising in 1989. Chernyshenko set-up the Advertising Agency that later developed into the Media Arts Group. Chernyshenko graduated from the Moscow State Technological University. Chernyshenko's stated interests include motor racing, downhill skiing and martial arts.
Dmitry Chernyshenko also has significant experience working with the Russian Ministry for Sports. Chernyshenko has served on a number of committees. In November, 2005 Dmitry Chernyshenko was appointed the CEO of the Sochi 2014 Bid Committee.
On July 5, 2007 the Sochi 2014 bid Committee were notified they had won the games, the Olympics were coming to the Russian Federation. On December 13, 2007, Dmitry Chernyshenko was awarded with the Order of Honor for the successful victory of the Sochi 2014 Bid.
