Dmitri Young is a first baseman for the Washington Nationals. After attending Rio Mesa High School in Oxnard, CA, the St. Louis Cardinals selected him with the 4th overall selection in the 1991 amateur draft. Young made his major league debut with the Cardinals on August 29, [[1996]. He played with the Cardinals, Reds, and Tigers, before joining the Nationals as a free agent in 2007.
