Mistaken Identity
On Monday, February 9, 2009, DJ Khaled was incorrectly identified as a suspect in a low-speed car chase in Los Angeles, California. When the white Bentley sedan came to a stop in Universal City, close-up shots were shown of the man behind the wheel, which caused many to speculate it was Khaled. Police spoke out that the suspect, who had allegedly assaulted his girlfriend with a deadly weapon before the chase began, was not a high profile figure. In a MySpace blog believed to be Khaled's, the Florida rapper told his fans he was at work in Miami and not involved in a car chase in Los Angeles.LAist: Chris Brown Car Chase?
