Disturbia

The 2007 thriller Disturbia stars Shia LaBeouf as a teenager under house arrest who comes to believe his neighbor is a murderer. The film has frequently been compared to the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock movie Rear Window, which also chronicles a house-bound man becoming increasingly paranoid while spying on his neighbors.

Disturbia was a sleeper hit upon its release in the Spring of 2007, remaining in the top slot at the American box office for three straight weeks. With a budget of only $20 million, and a final worldwide gross over $100 million, the film was a considerable financial success.
