Distraction at the Dead Scar is part of the Shattered Sun Offensive storyline provided in World of Warcraft's 2.4 patch released on March 25, 2008. Speak with the Dragonhawk Master Ayren Cloudbreaker to undertake the bombing run to defeat the demons inhabiting the Dead Scar. Wrath Enforcers require one hit, Eredar Sorcerers require two, and the Pit Overlords will require three bombs to defeat. If another player has injured a demon, you may not receive credit for completing the task. The Distraction at the Dead Scar quest often requires two bombing runs to complete all of the objectives. When completed, this becomes the daily quest: The Air Strikes Must Continue.
