Originally these competitions were based on Olympic style games that was aired on TV on the Disney Channel. Now the Disney Channel TV site is still very popular and provides games for kids to play, videos and TV show times and dates. The Disney Channel Games site is highly popular with kids of all ages.

Background
These games were played at and filme at Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex and the games were produced and shown on the TV. The last season, the 2008 games showcased five sports events and various hosts. Disney Channel stars from around the world teamed and competed in this charitable benefit. -
