Like other titles in the Disgaea series, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice is likely to have a system of secret/unlockable characters, extra powerful weapons and similarly hidden equipment and content.

2. Characters from former entries will be available
3. Item World feature allows players to build up their stats
4. The Academy allows players to level up separate stats
5. Skills are purchased using “mana points,” which are collected in combat
