  • Disgaea 3 Absence of Justice is a Role-Playing game for the PS3 system. It is developed and published by Nippon Ichi in Japan, and is the third in the Disgaea series of games. It was released in Japan at the beginning of 2008 and is scheduled for release in Fall 2008 in the United States.

  • Story

    You play as the main character, Mao, who is a student at Maritsu Evil Academy (a school in the Netherworld). This particular school is one in which those who don't go to class and don't do homework are known as the good students, and those who show up and do their work are known as delinquents. Mao is the number one student at the school, and hopes to one day take over for his father, who is overlord of the Academy. Mao mistakenly believes that he must begin attending classes and being a "good" student are the way to accomplish this, but he is incorrect. He is helped back onto the right path by a fellow student, and top "deliquent," Raspberyl. Together with a cast of other interesting characters, they must defeat Mao's father and allow him to become Overlord himself.

  • Gameplay

    Disgaea 3 is a strategy-based RPG, consisting of gigantic tactical battles, lots of level grinding, and multiple endings. Much of the gameplay and graphics from previous entries in the Disgaea series are still present in this third installment, but some notable additions have been made. After building a tower of characters in battle, you have the ability to toss the top character to higher ground, and you are also granted the ability to throw environmental objects at your enemies. You will also be able to power your characters up beyond the level cap, leading to attacks that cause over a million points of damage. All of this combined will make for a strategy RPG-lover's dream game that will contain nearly endless fun and replay value.
