Discovering Your Roots is a daily quest in the online game, World of Warcraft, that was released as part of the WoW 2.4 patch on March 25th, 2008. This quest is part of the Shattered Sun Offensive, which entails reclaiming the Isle of Quel'Danas from the Kael'thas Sunstrider army.
Discovering your Roots becomes available once players have taken over the Sun's Reach Harbor during Phase Three of the Offensive. The quest begins with Mar'nah, who asks you to find five Razorthorn Roots and bring them to her. You must then travel to Razorthorn Rise in Outland, and kill Razorthorn Flayers until one rewards you with a Razorthorn Flayer Gland. Use the gland on a Razerthorn Ravager, and press "control+7" to have then excavate Razorthorn Roots. Once you have collected five roots, return to Mar'nah for a reward of 3 Gold, 40 Silver and Shattered Sun Supplies.
Once players build an Alchemy Lab in Phase Four, Discovering your Roots gets replaced by a quest entitled, Rediscovering Your Roots.
