The infamous film Dirty Dancing is getting set for a theatrical run on the Broadway stage in January 2009.Variety: Dirty Dancing Eyes Broadway (October 21, 2008) Titled Dirty Dancing - The Classic Story Onstage, it is a close adaptation of the movie and is not classified as a musical since none of the main roles sing. The probable Broadway premiere will follow successful runs in Germany, England, and Canada. Dirty Dancing is currently performing through Jan. 17 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.
