  • Plot

    Frances Houseman, ('Baby'), spends the summer in an upscale holiday camp with her well to do family. Baby befriends the camp's dance instructor, Johnny Castlefalls who gives Baby a crash coarse in dancing in order to fill in for his partner. The two get closer and closer and end up finding true love.
  • Triva

    • The song "She's Like The Wind" was co-written and sung by Patrick Swayze.
    • Jennifer Grey was 27 at the time of her audition, she was given five minutes to prove she could play the character of Baby, who was ten years younger then her.
    • Val Kilmer was offered the head role but declined.
