Dirt TV Show

The FX Network dramatic series Dirt starred Courteney Cox Arquette as Lucy Spiller, the editor-in-chief of the "glossy" tabloid magazine DirtNow. The plots centered around Spiller's personal relationships and the lives of the stars hounded by her magazine. The show's second season, cut short by the Writers Guild Strike, began airing in March of 2008. The show was canceled in June, 2008.

Jennifer Aniston Appearance

In an intensely hyped and hotly anticipated moment, Arquette's former Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston appeared on the finale of Dirt's first season, as a competing tabloid editor, and the two shared a brief on-screen lesbian kiss.

Ian Hart

British actor Ian Hart portrays paparazzo Don Konkey on the series, employing an American accent. (He has used his English accent on the show in a dream sequence). The character is a wildly unpredictable schizophrenic who frequently fails to take his medication.

Hart previously played John Lennon in the film Backbeat, about early Beatles bassist Stu Sutcliffe, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle in the film Finding Neverland.
