• Dionne Warwick is a soft rock and soul singer very popular in the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s for hits as "Walk On By" and "That's What Friends Are For" with Stevie Wonder. According to Billboard magazine, Warwick is second only to Aretha Franklin as the female vocalist with the most Billboard Hot 100 chart hits from 1955-1999. In addition to her singing career Warwick has been a humanitarian activist, serving as a United Nations Global Ambassador for the Food and Agriculture Organization and as a United States Ambassador of Health.
