• Dilbert is a syndicated American comic strip.

  • Synopsis

    Dilbert provides a satirical glimpse at white-collar office life. Dressed with a tie and glasses, the strip's main character, Dilbert, is a technically gifted yet socially awkward engineer.

    On a daily basis, he deals with an apathetic colleague (Wally), a frustrated engineer (Alice), a naive intern (Asok), and a mean, incompetent superior simply named "The Boss." Dilbert's pet dog Dogbert is just as smart--if not smarter--than its owner.

    Creator Scott Adams, who is credited with being the first syndicated cartoonist to list his e-mail address on a strip, receives and uses submitted ideas from readers.United Feature Syndicate: Dilbert by Scott Adams This has kept Dilbert storylines contemporary, despite the constant office setting.
