Digitalism are a German electronic music duo, consisting of two friends, Jens Moelle and Ismail Tuefekci. They formed in 2004 in Berlin after befriending each other in a record store. Their music blends electro-house with elements of rock music. As well as producing and performing their own material, the members of Digitalism are performing DJs who have remixed a number of other bands.
Studio History

Digitalism released their debut album, Idealism, in 2007 on Astralwerks Records. It features the tracks Zdarlight, Idealistic, Pogo, and Jupiter Room, which were previously released as singles on Kitsune Music.
Performing Live

Much like their music, Digitalism's live act is a mix between house-style DJing and a rock performance. Pre-produced samples are played off of a laptop computer and everything else is handled by drum machines, synthesizers, while Moelle sings live.
