Digital Underground is a rap group that is influenced by George Clinton's Funkadelic sounds of the 1970s. They sample many of their tracks. The biggest commercial hit by Digital Underground was "The Humpty Dance" off their 1990 album Sex Packets. The group stood apart from the popular rap groups on the scene in the early 1990s due to their whimsical style, and comedic presentation.
