Buying Guide
There are two basic types of timers: built in and regular digital timers.Built in timers come with your oven or microwave, a bonus feature that is often useful for cooking.
Regular digital timers are timers that have an LCD screen and often feature accuracy to the second. Many have magnetic backing to easily store on the refrigerator. Some can time two things simultaneously. Choose one with an audible alarm and a sound that you feel comfortable with. For a cheaper alternative consider dial timers, these are less accurate but don't run on batteries and cost less to buy.
