Digiframes, or digital picture frames, have become popular along with Digital Cameras and photo-sharing sites like Flickr.
Buying Guide
Digiframes come in various sizes and with different features. When purchasing a Digiframe it's important to identify the context that the frame will be used with. Traditionally Digiframes are used as slide shows. Usually the photos are transferred from a camera or computer to a memory card, USB or digital storage device, then transferred directly into the digiframes. Some frames have their own memory, others feed off the storage device. When making an investment on a digiframe it's important to determine whether the consumer has all the necessary tools, and compatible devices to make the purchase worthwhile. The purchase of a digiframe without a computer or digital camera is considered a poor investment. Having compatible memory cards for the devices should also be a primary consideration. Choosing a size and style is a matter of personal preference. In general, the larger the frame, the more expensive the device. Some frames also come with photo time interval adjustment, color control, and even mp3 playback.
