Digable Planets is a Grammy winning Hip-Hop group from New York City that broke ground in the early 1990s with their unique fusion of Jazz samples and Hip-Hop verses. Their debut album Reachin' (A New Refutation of Time and Space) became a crossover hit in 1993 and spawned the Grammy winning single "Rebirth of Slick (Cool Like Dat)." While the band's second album Blowout Comb was critically praised, album sales were slow and eventually led to the band's breakup. The planets reunited in 2005 and continue to tour and perform.

Blowout Comb - $16.98
In 1993, the Digable Planets, a trio of New York MCs with happy insect monikers (Doodlebug, Butterfly, and Ladybug) and nonthreatening auras, created manna for the pseudo-beatnik crowd. On Reachin': A New Refutation of Time and Space...
