Dierks Bentley Grammy Presenter

Country musician Dierks Bentley has been confirmed as a presenter at the 2011 Grammy Awards, honoring the top musical artists from the past year. The 2011 Grammys will be held at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, California on Sunday, February 13. This year, Dierks Bentley has been nominated for three Grammy awards. Dierks Bentley Background

Dierks Bentley was born on November 20, 1975 and grew up in Phoenix, Arizona. At 19, he moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. He grew disheartened when he failed to attract any significant public or professional interest. He secured a job at the Nashville Network doing research on classic country performances. 

In 2003, Capitol Records heard Dierks' music, signed him, and released his self-titled debut album Dierks Bentley. In 2005, his second album, Modern Day Drifter, became a Top Ten hit. Since then, Dierks Bentley has released four more albums, Long Trip Home in 2006, Greatest Hits: Every Mile a Memory in 2008, Feel That Fire in 2009, and Up on the Ridge in 2010 which has been nominated for Best Country Album for the 2011 Grammy awards.
