Diego Montoya is the alleged head of the Colombian drug cartel Norte del Valle. He was captured in his home by Colombian authorities in January of 2007. In December of 2008, Montoya was extradited to the United States by helicopter to stand trial on 12 charges, including drug trafficking and murder.
