On August 26, 2008, news agencies reported that four masked pirates forced their way on board a yacht that has been chartered by various celebrities including Diddy and Giorgio Armani. Reports indicate that the pirates demanded cash and valuables from passengers on the yacht and left within ten minutes. Nine guests were on the boat and had chartered it for the week. The yacht was moored off Corsica in the Mediterranean Sea.
