  • Early Life and Career

    Enberg was born in [[Mount Clemens], Michigan. He attended college at Central Michigan University and Indiana University, earning his doctorate in health sciences at Indiana. Enberg was an assistant professor and baseball coach at California State University, Northridge from 1961-1965.

    Enberg began his broadcasting career calling games for the California Angels in the late 1960s and later called games for the Los Angeles Rams and the UCLA Bruins Basketball team. Enberg joined NBC in 1975 and broadcast at the network for the next 25 years. Enberg still broadcasts sporting events around the country.
