Tim Donaghy, the former NBA referee who pleaded guilty in 2007 to betting on games that he was officiating, told federal authorities that at least one referee assigned to Game 6 of the 2002 Western Conference Finals between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings made calls with the express intent of tilting the game in favor of the Lakers.
